Paris Baguette Cafe has opened up in Singapore around late last year. Nice cafe, nice cake and definitely 'nice' prices for its food and drink.
I was in Seoul last year when I first tried the stuff there. I loved it so much that I had my breakfast there every morning. I find the pricing to be much more user-friendly than in Singapore.
Finally gotten a good look at the food sold in the cafe in Singapore and decide to give their cakes a try. They look too cute for me to say no. Most importantly, I manage to find an empty table within minutes.
I ordered the Earl Grey Tea Cake, Oh, My Baby Crepe and the Original Flavour Royal Pudding. Cake ranges from $6.50 to $8.50 a piece and the pudding ranges from $4 to $4.50 a bottle.
Cakes look nicer than they taste. Hehe... But I still find them quite nice. Cakes are soft and the flavouring are not too strong. You can find slices of stawberry between the layers of cakes.
You must try the pudding! I am not a great lover of pudding but this pudding won me hands down. It does not have the same texture as your normal pudding. It loves more milky. I have the original flavour. I think they add in caramel so you will need to stir it first before eating.
Above are the different flavours of the royal pudding that they have. However, on my visit, they only have three flavours available. I guess they will rotate the different flavours for sale each day and it just depend on your luck to see what they have for sale that day. I am definitely going back to try more of this.
